Spent his summer youth prepping his godparent's Midwest land for vibrant blooms. Each year he'd select a different variety to plant, chosen for their color, or their scent, their durability, or utility.
Years later when life brought him to California, he noticed how it's flowers stretched toward the nourishment of the West Coast sun and it reminded
him of his early years picking blossoms. It continues to remind him of the glory that lies in diversity.
This book is a love letter to the vast and beautiful specimens of flora, and fauna that our West Coast has to offer, but ldris has traveled and experienced blooms from all corners of the United States - so keep an eye out for future Field Guides.
